JOB DESCRIPTION
GREETER-SHIPPING OFFICE
The responsibility of the Greeter is to maintain a steady flow in the office by checking drivers in, entering driver information, filing, and assisting as needed when time allows.
· Greet Drivers
· Make sure drivers sign in on the log book
· Hand out driver paperwork to be filled out
· Assist drivers in filling out paperwork
· Make copies of their Insurance paperwork and drivers license
(No load will be issued with missing documents)
· Enter Driver information into system as needed
· Inform Dispatch Driver is ready for a Load
· Give Dispatch Driver paperwork for review
· When Dispatch is finished with paperwork file in designated filing cabinet
· Answer phone calls as needed
· Assist Shipping and Admin. Offices as needed
